I no we all love what ever model we have , but Black Empala has one thing wrong, The Numbers from Hummer on MPG is the same for both models in the City and only 1 MPG lower on the HWY. for the Alpha. That is no way the same as H2. I no because i have Both! The Alpha is Much better!

 

I've said this plenty of times. I've driven both and the acceleration is not all that on the Alpha. The only nice things is the purring of the V-8. I am happy with my I-5 and i tow my boat along with my horse trailors. So unless you figure on towing something really heavy, the I-5 is the way to go!

 

never drove the 3.7L I5, however, the Alpha was a significant upgrade in power and highway passing ability than my former 3.5L I5
