Default Alignment Issues with 35's

Anyone have Alignment issues while running 35's?

It took me 7 tries at 2 different places for them to get my steering wheel straight and each time they said the alignment specs were out from the previous time. This is over a one month period.

They're trying to blame the 315/75R16 Tires saying they are too big and causing the alignment to go out of whack... and neither shop is a dealer either.

If you want it done correct, pay the extra and have it done at a Hummer dealer that knows the vehicle. forget firestone or any other shop. its best to have poeple that know the vehicle and work on the daily. mine is leveled, running 315's and the steering wheel is dead on straight and tracks down the road straight with hands off the wheel for awhile.

Unfortunately the nearest Hummer Dealer is 120 miles away. The GM dealer where I purchased the H3 uses an outside shop to do their alignments.

I'm running the new version Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S in 315/75R16's

I got it back straight today from my own local shop so hopefully it stays that way.

I don't understand how they can blame the tire size for it going out of alignment...

its an easy excuse for them to use. probably had to work harder to align with the bigger rubber. mechanics hate anything non- stock. Every 4X4 i have owned since 1980 has been lifted and had large tires. My hummer dealer is the only one that doesnt give me XXXX about it!

Took the H3 on a 250 mile trip and within the first 100 miles the steering wheel was off center to the left again... Could it be the bigger tires?

if we all put smaller tires on our hummers would that excuse the excuses from mechanics who tell you that your tires are making your steering wishy washy..... just a thought
