Default Air suspension help!!

I recently purchased a 2005 H2 SUT. Really enjoy the truck but having an issue and not sure what to do. I went Saturday night and bought some ceramic tile at Lowes and loaded it in the back. The air suspension started going to level the load I guess but once I got to the restaurant to eat it was still going. Shut off the truck and ate with wife and when we got out it was still going!! Drove home and unloaded the tile and it still won't shut off!! I tried all that I could and even disconnected the battery for the night and the next day when I connected the battery it went right back to going. So I pulled the fuse to disconnect the air suspension. Any ideas? What is the ramifications for disconnecting? This morning was very cold and snowing and the truck ran very rough on bumps. Is it due to cold or the air suspension being turned off? Please help.

One of the two rear leveling sensor arms could have popped off. I would do a close visual inspection. If that compressor keeps running it will burn up and then you might be better off with the above Arnott kit. I would try to fix it though. It's a nice setup when it works.

the compressor is the expensive part, air the system back up & pull the fuse to avoid burning it up, until you find the problem, I agree with Phil you have a bad sensor triggering the computer to keep the compressor on... I love the air ride set up & is one of the reasons I'm on my 2nd H2 , you may also have a badly leaking air bag & the compressor keeps pumping it with air (but the compressor should still shut off with the key)
