* thats an easy one, just pull off the pillars and replace the two sided tape with gorilla tape, fixed mine in less than 5 mins. *

Wow, what a knucklehead. I just looked at that and it was like a lightbulb going off. I didnt know there were screws to take those off behind the rubber door seal.

just goes to show that no matter how much you think you know it never hurts to take advice.

the pillars are the front roof posts on the left and right. when you open the front doors look on the inside of the pillar, it is black plastic and has four screws, remove the screws and pull the pillar covers off, then take off the old double sided tape and replace it with either 3m tape or gorrilla double sided tape. and seal the sides of the windshield with caulking.

i removed wind deflector but still the noise was there..

one more thing...i think my front mirror (wind screen) is not properly fixed
the guy from which i purchased this car he was telling me that he changed the windscreen...

yesterday i was looking at the rubber of the windscreen and i came to know that the noise which is comming through sunroof will probably be this windscreen noise..

any suggestion about that???

although i have put double sided tape inside pillars of my car....but if i have to fix the windscreen again then offcourse i have to remove the pillars again... :-(

any idea about the fixing of windscreen??
bcoz i only need to remove this noise....then my car will be EXCELLENT

pull the pillars off one more time, run some silicone caulking along the seam of the windshield, i did that and no matter what speed im going there is no wind noise.
