AGAIN leaking oil plus knock sensors.. Beast at the dealer
Well the Nightmare continues
The dealer told me a gasket between the engine(not sure where) is leaking they also told me to replace tge knock sensors and connector which are going to be easy to access
Quote me 700 total
Is anything else to take care in tge area as a preventive maintenance. Any other gasket which can leak eventually
Thx

I would look yourself to see if the oil pressure sending unit it leaking. I think you replaced it already but that doesn't mean it aint lleaking again.
The dealer is right tho' if the intake has to come off it it a good idea to replace the Knock sensors.

The pressure sensor was leaking the dealer replaced after I did then I see an oil mark runnimg on the side but they said the middle gasket was also leaking.. Not sure if they just trying to make some money out of it
I paid 2000ish first time . And 700 now .
I just want to be sure nothing else could leak in that area .
but they didnt give me a straightforward answer.
Already replace oil pan gasket . Main rear seal . Pressure switch and now the mid gasket .
Let see whats next

I just did my knock sensors a couple of weekends ago....

There are a few things that can leak up top on the back side. Your oil pressure sender which you already had replaced. Rocker covers (valve covers as most call them but is really the wrong term), valley pan (this is where the knock sensors are installed), and possibly the camshaft position sensor. The camshaft position sensor is literally right next to the oil pressure sender. It just has an o-ring on it. In the second pic of my thread you see the top end with the valley cover removed. In that pic the oil pressure sender is is at the back right corner of the valley with the silver bit around the edge and black bit sticking out of the top of it (wires are not plugged onto it). To the left of that literally a quarter of an inch away is the camshaft position sensor.
The valley pan itself - I did replace that gasket. Glad I did. When I had the intake off, two of the bolts on the valley pan were literally loose and I just removed them by hand..... To fully remove the valley pan you must first remove the knock sensors, then the 10 bolts. On the bottom of the valley pan in the two knock sensor holes are rubber seals which will resist and probably tear when removing the pan. I also replaced those.... Mine were dry, hard, and crumbling. I doubt they were leaking in any way though as there was no oil in the knock sensors holes.
Regardless if they were in there they SHOULD have at minimum verified that the valley pan bolts were tight and replaced the fifty cent o-ring on the camshaft position sensor (size is dash number 113).
Anyways those are the things at the very top that "might" leak. I know the oil pressure senders can go bad - literally leaking oil out of the actual wire connector. I've heard of new ones even being bad like that but its uncommon on a new one I'd think.

@lenny ... I was thinking the same . Some sort of gremlins gets in my truck while another is constantly sending wire transfers from my wallet
@mixman
Thats exacly tge info I was lookimg . Now you mentioned the valley pan is what they found leaking .
I asked the dealer if anything else could be checked and replaced but their answer was pretty vage
I found stupid from them to not replace the 2 valve cover gasket and the o-ring . In fact not that stupid , they know it will eventually leak so I got to come back and paid again to have the same place checked ...
Will call early tomorrow to ask tgem to replace the gaskets and O ring .
Im.takimg the truck for repair to tge dealer cause my job won't leave me spare time ,also is tooooo dam hot outside to work on the car . But this is passing the line
Like lenny said this is love but is getting sick
