Default Aftermarket guages

I was wondering what types of gauges you guys and gals might have in your h3. We purchased the h3 this summer to keep the miles off the h2 and i like knowing what is going on by seeing real engine temps, charging, oil pressure and really hate the h3 idiot lights. So if you are running aftermarket gauges i would like to see pictures and comments on installation or what you might have done different. Thanks everyone

I bought a BAFX Bluetooth OBD2 scanner for $20, and paired it to my phone app known as Torque. The app has a free version, which I use, and a 5 dollar premium version.

You can then place your phone on a mount/cradle and have a ton of gauges to view. Research the torque app, I'll also provide a picture of the gauges I chose to view. (there's many many more than the ones I picked to view)

The basic scanner at Autozone is about 50 bucks and only scans for codes. So for less than half that you can own a bluetooth scanner that does much much more.

I use a Scan Guage-E. It only shows 2 items per screen (I mostly just watch Trip MPG and Instant MPG). It reads all the stuff the Scan Guage II does except for transmission temp. When I bought it a couple years ago it was 1/2 the price of the II, now it's only about $30 difference on Amazon. I have been thinking about getting this other brand for the wife's H3, but I can't remember the name of it at the moment... :/

Thanks for the info guys the scan-gauge 2 looks good and looking on amazon with the obd splitter i can keep it plugged in, I like the blue tooth but i dont think the wife will set up her phone every time she drives so i think that is a good choice.

There is also the Ultra Gauge, it doesn't monitor transmission temp but reads everything else the SGII does. You get a color display and can monitor up to 6 gauges at one time. About 1/2 the price of the SGII.
