Default Price Check

Please checkout this H3 Alpha and let me know what you guys would be willing to pay?

KBB says $18,066 to $21,943. Kinda of a big price range to go by.

The dealership where this Alpha is at is kinda far from my house (90 miles) and I want to be ready to pull the trigger, IF they give me a fair price on my 2006 on trade in.

Thanks and if there is anything on the truck to look over I'm all ears. I already plan to take a flash light and my creeper to inspect it from bumper to bumper. I wonder if I can work a deal to change out all the chrome and keep my black handles and mirrors lol, worth asking I guess.

With 46k miles and a V8, be ready to pay at the upper end of the KBB estimate. Being out in Mineral Wells may work in your favor if traffic at the dealership is low but unless there is something really wrong with that one, the mileage is keeping the price up there. I would look it over closely, HT tires on an Alpha with lockers might be a sleeper but that nasty cup holder may be a hint to slob-like previous ownership. I hope those marks on the rear seat are just lighting and not mold or footprints or something worse.

I got a call back on the price this morning. Their asking $24,000.00 which is way above KBB price. I know that's an "asking" price but doesn't seem hopeful to get it down around $21,000 or so.

Wondering what they will offer for my 2006 with 80,000 miles that's clean and well kept.

You're always better off selling your vehicle on your own versus trading it in. Especially when you are buying a vehicle over the price range. For $24K, I would start looking into H3T's although at that price you will have to give up the V8 or low mileage. There just aren't many H3T's for sale at the moment.

Cool Cash is king!!

If you can manage the cash up front you'll have a much better bargaining position, especially this late in the year. I would also be curious as to why there was 4 previous owners.

Do you mean not applying for a loan for the amount remaining after my trade in is deducted?

It shows some wiring repair...would that have anything to do with possible leaks from the sunroof or has Hummer fixed that problem with the newer models???
