How about a picture of it open. Im guessing the mounting screws are inside. I have the chrome bling Hummer one and it does not lock. Im hoping I could replace it with this one if the stock one has not rubbed the paint under that cheap *** looking vinyl padding around the outside. Funny how several people all went to this one design. Thanks if you get time to shoot it.

Man you are a bad influence........I see your new fuel door, go to order one just like it for my black H3 and end
up spending 3 bills on other miscellaneous add-ons.

Nice job on the install by the way. How involved was it....Just some common sense and hand tools right?

Can't wait for it to get here.

I'm in "ship time" hell right now. A week for the stuff from Stallion, tires from 4WP are a week out and my
Bilstein / Cognito shocks are a week out as well. I guess good things come to those who wait.

I have the same one in chrome.
There is rust coming out on the inside part of the door.

Seriously contemplating the black "Predator" fuel door myself - looking for ways to sport up my ride without blinging it all out. Is this something we can do ourselves without any real "mechanic-ing" skills, or is it something I am going to have to take to my dealer and fork out another hundred or more $ for them to install?? Also, I am still not real sure I want to have to fumble with my keys every time I gas up. Anyone find this to be a PITA?

Probably from all that damn salty Mediterranean air around you there in St Tropaz

Seriously, did you run through a lot of salt on the roads during your trip to the land of the Mid-night sun?

Might be the salty air! no kidding
No, I did not run trough a lot of salt .... since salt is forbidden in scandinavian countries for at least 10 years, of course now the road are saturated with unknown chimical compound in the name of ..... nature protection[:'(]

Seriously, that's a pic of the problem.
