I clicked on this link like a dummy. Its not passive, totaly hyjacked my computer, Hey Admin or Mod , How about getting rid of this link thats scattered all over this forum. It even on this thread.

 

What are ths symptoms of the virus. I had just had my computer reformatted so I was upset even though my anti virus said it had blocked the threat.

I am glad the real Admins are on top of this. Is it possible for a "junior member" to be an admin or moderator, as this should have been a clue that this guy was a fake.

the virus that i got would just close everything that i tried to open...and it kept telling me that i had to pay 49.99 to buy the antivirus program for it.

i found the source of the virus and wrote it down then went into safe mode and found the program and deleted it...then i ran my antivirus program and removed any infected files.

this morning I found a loophole that the spammers were using at a couple other sites. I do not know if they found the loophole here but i have fixed another problem this morning in case anyone got another spam PM.
