Help again!

all of a sudden, started the car after a few days, switched the AC on on the highway, and suddenly AC off on the display in front and the Temp needle falls all the way down.

My car: 2008 Hummer H3
Maintained by dealer till date, at 116,000 KMS currently.

I stopped the car and wondered what was wrong, i knew the ac compressor being off was a sign of heating.. stopped to look under the Hood, the engine seemed fine, no heat, no nothing. no leak from the radiator, the resorvior being ok as well.

Next day started the car, same sign, drove a bit and both suddenly start working again.

AC is back to normal, temp gauge is back to normal.

What sensor could it be i guess?

Thankyou, but is there anything i can do myself to check whats wrong?

We don't get those scanners here.
