8 inch rim instead of 8.5

Default 8 inch rim instead of 8.5
looking at a set of 17 inch x 8 inch rims (instead of stock 17 x 8.5) just because of availabilty and price, others I see are 17inch x9, will it be ok to put 8inch width instead of 8.5 wheel, any cons?

forgot to say please help with some advise, any ideas comments? difference from 8.5 inch stock to smaller 8 inch or if go 9 inch?
