Default Using tracks instead of tires

Just wandering if anyone has put on tracks from mattracks instead of using tires? It looks like someone did it to an H1, a couple of questions I had are: does having the tracks on the vehicle dramatically lower gas mileage? can they be run all the time? and how much did you pay for yours? I have had some of these questions answered by mattracks but I wanted to get someones input on who actually have them and if they are worth it.

Here is their website

I drove a Toyota PU with those installed at an event years ago, obviously you have to be moving to be able to turn the steering wheel but even so they made the steering heavy to the point where it was no fun for tight trails. They're also not for on road use.

I didn't realize that it would have been hard to turn with them on. Mattracks says you can go on the road, but only about 40mph and not for a long time. Thanks for the reply

They show a pic of a Yellow H3 with the tracs on their site. Not sure how I feel about them. Seem useful in certain situations, but might also drag you down at times.
