anyone have issues with 4x4 high lock not disengaging will only kick out if i backup does this seem normal owners manual says might need to back up to release lock feature gm shop didnt think it was normal to have to back up

 

need to back up every time? if so id sat something is getting sticky,going bad. the book mentions it BUT it doesnt say EVERY TIME.
could be the now famous shift fork problem discussed here hundreds of times. u can search and read all about it.

ive had 2 h3 and never had to back up to go to 4hi.

did u change juice just to be sure??

 

yes i did change fluid old fluid looked good dont use 4x4 hi lock much but the past couple times wouldnt disengage i talked to gm tech he didnt think the shift fork concern was the same thing
