I have the BFG MT's in this size. All the tire manufacturers do say not to go below 8" rim for this size tire. They have worked fine for me but I have also not tried a highway speed emergency lane change, not that i would want to do that with the stock tires -but for different reasons. There is the chance the tire could pop off the bead with a combo of braking and a sharp turn.[/align]I use the H3 for offroad 90% of the time and drive real careful when on the highway.[/align]There is more of a chance of the tire unseating as the tire pressure drops.[/align]
