Default 33" or 35"

Having a hard time deciding what I want. I have the inline 5 and for the ones running 35" what kind of power loss did you experience?

I noticed a big difference going from 33's to 35's. I used to avg. 17-18mpg and now my avg. is 11-12mpg. I get a little better on the highway at times but not by much at all. It's a toss up but I like the looks and additional clearance with the 35's.

Well, they say a picture is worth a 1000 words. This about sums it up, my H3 on 33s out front with the FS V8 Chevy, my buds (White 2006 and Black 2007) with 35s.

At that time I had just the Air Doc Intake, PCMforless tune, with MagnaFlow Cat back. We did this sand drag at least half dozen times, same result each time. Since I have the PCM Efan conversion and a Port Polished Throttle Body. On 33s, it has pleanty of balz.

BTW with 35s, you only pick up 0.7" of ground clearance over 33s.

I just installed 35" Nitto Trail Grappler and upgraded from the OEM 33" Duelers. The power loss was not obvious but bearable. I love the look of the 35" and will never go back.

We have the Goodyear MTR's. and they are 33's. We love them. Power loss was not that noticeable to us. We are getting between 16 and 18 mpg. It's a great offroad as well as on road tire. I've never had 35's on ours so I can't speak for that.

Yes 3.7L I5 with a tune from FPT using hptuner software. The tune did all the differance in the world. It brought back lost power and mpg after the upgrade to 35". Do it you will not be disappointed.
