Talking 315/75/16 mtr

I found a new set of 315/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs for $500.00. I am picking them up Sunday. I can't wait!

Nice find if it's legit! Hope it is, but buyer beware.

I hope its legit...I am going to meet him today at 1:00 at his business. He carries the 285/75/16 MTR's if I decide to stay within factory specs. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Default 315 Club

Update: Bad news/good news.

I arrived at the sellers garage to see a guy loading up (12) - 315/75-16 MTR's! Crap!
That only left 3 MTR's for sale! But he did have (5) - 315/75/16 Dunlop Radials Mud Rovers in his inventory. I guess he felt bad because he sold them to me for $550 OTD! Now I am a member of the 315 Club!

Nice! Post up your opinions once you get them on. They were on my list when I was shopping.

Congrats! I know how psyched I was when I put on my 315/75R/16s MTZ's......however, I also know how bummed I am because I took them off after 36k miles and the dealer told me that the increased size caused additional stress on my CV's and steering gear - its a $2,100 fix and I also need to take off my leveling kit. I know that there is a vast array of opinions on here, but just be aware that there may be additional costs down the road as a result of your mods -- I will look awesome though!

That a bummer! Did you replace the 35's with smaller tires after the repairs? Did you have the leveling kit or just crank the T-bars/shocks/bump stop?

I have two sets of tire/wheel combos. The OEM chrome wheels w/ 285's and the silver OEM wheels w/ 315's. I will install the 285's setup to avoid controversy when I need to visit the Hummer dealership. Thanks for the information.
