I have a 08 h2 sut, when rolling just over 10 mph after it has shifted into 2nd gear (i think) when i accelerate i feel a sleight bang. Is my trans slipping? Or am i just paranoid?

 

You could have a bad u joint but it's not a slipping tranny.

This is very typical of GM trucks/SUV's with the 6 speed trans. I have brought mine in a number of times complaining about the clunk on throttle tip in after deceleration. Back at the beginning they did a reflash which helped a little bit, last time I was in I mentioned they look at things again. I'm not happy with the low speed manners of the 6 speed...... the closer gear ratios and extra gears help considerably with acceleration and towing but I wish it behaved a bit better at lower speeds.
