having had a 5 series bmw, even an older one...i would have to go with the Z3...however, right out of college i nearly bought a 2001 SLK compressor...but i needed a trunk for my hockey bag, and with the top down, there is no trunk! the elise is one fast little car, and they are ALL that expensive...

the G35 coupe is also the skyline. throughout its existance, the skyline has usually been offered as a sedan, coupe, and wagon, although i dont think that there was a BNR34 wagon. the 350z here is the fairlady in japan.

as for the bang for the buck, i have to go with the evo...and we are waiting right now on the release of the challenger, but if it is ridiculously priced, we will likely get an evo, or an srt-8 300c.

 

If that SRT8 comes out, I might seriously consider that instead of the Camaro. That is just one sweet looking car, not to mention it would probably have alot of aftermarket support for it.

I don't know what I want I guess. I miss having a toy car. I think the used Z3 is good as you said. You can get a decent one for about $10k used.

 

i am fortunate to have my old dodge to play with, but i mod everything...the missus truck is good for 14s...

but spending on mods is on hold right now, as we are paying for our wedding...

 

I mod everything too (including my H3, unsuccessfully so far).

I hear ya on the wedding, hence what I said about ALMOST having my Viper. Now I'm having a house built.

well, we have a house...at least one that is good enough for now...but i dont have a garage, and i hate that...her parents arent pitching in for the wedding...so at least her mother doesnt have any say in things...

 

and be happy they aren't. They would have tried to control EVERYTHING. It's universal. My wife's mother pulled that, paid for almost everything, and now says we owe her $2000 for the 850+ pictures they took, literally! It was a big freakin production more then a wedding. 850 pictures. Do you now what a pain in the @#$$ that is? We looked like we were dead from being so tired of taking pictures. That's what happens when you marry into a puerto rican and Mexican family Well, at least in my case
