does the 08 come with the rear differential as standard equipment?

and is their any reason other then cost, not to buy an 08 over an 07, 06, 05 etc

 

a rear differential is standard on about every car and truck built. Did you mean something else??

Might be a locking rear diff he's talking about

 

A locking diff. is standard. The '08 has a bigger engine and better transmission. It will give you better mileage. It's supposed to have more refined interior.

 

The o8 is basically equipped with the engine like the escalade with the 6.2... The interior looks more Benz like than hummer tho in my opinion.. It is very nice, but I sort of miss the rounded air vents & Macho dash layout. Just my 2 cents..

 

The '0808 is a WAY better truck. I say go for an '08. The power increase in very noticeable when driving.

 

They are called "tittie" vents. Probably why you miss them.
