I have a 2006 hummer h3 and I am trying to remove the factory lighter / Aux ports with some that are eliminated ... I can't figure out how to take the old ones ... can someone please tell me how to remove them? Is there and trick to getting them out without breaking them or scratching up the trim on the dash?

All I know is how to take the dash panel off. Good luck with the cigarette lighter jacks.

 

once the center panel is removed there are 2 phillips screws per AUX cover. For the lighter/12V ports, I don't know. Never tried, I use them both sometimes...
