2006 H3 factory amp broken (white smoke)
Hello
My H3 factory amp blewout when i had the music turned up too loud. The amp had white smoke coming out of it. I pulled the amp out and could see a burnt spot on the circuit board. I orderd the same factroy amp from a salvage yard pluged it in and still no sound. The factory deck has always turned on just fine but still no sound.
Do I need to program the factory deck to recognize the new factory amp? or is there some fuse that needs to be replaced?

First thing to do is take a multimeter and check the power leads to the amp, at the amp, and make sure you're getting current. If not, then start back tracking and see where the power interruption is (blown fuse, burned wire, etc.)
