Has anyone had this issue? Only when the AC is activated the engine will stumble at idle or when sitting at a light and sometimes during take off. It is not the normal drop in idle when the compressor kicks on but really feels like a stumble or misfire. No Check Engine codes. Vehicle has about 62,000 miles on it, and my brother just purchased it used. It seems to do ok when the AC is off.

Hmmm.... this is not one that I have heard of. Maybe another forum member has had a similar issue. If so I'm sure they will chime in here soon.

only guessing, if u can unplug the wire going to the air cond clutch,then everything else is turning on/off. it dont make pressure but if the trbl goes,it sure starts looking like the compressor.. have no idea why??

might also check pressure with a freon gage. maybe its got too much freon/pressure. still guessin!

oh so maybe the other guy messed with it,,,too much freon,,??is it possible??


or keeping it simple,,,a bad compressor
