Hello all, and apologies up front if any of this is answered elsewhere! First time poster as I'm considering purchase of 2006 H2 and am looking for any idea of an average market value for an H2 with 122K miles?

I've read nearly every page on this forum, researched KBB as well as the local Texas market and have concluded that the asking price of $18K is too high. It is a fairly stock white H2, in need of a good detailing, interior in OK shape for its age, and missing the aft jump seat (appears to be dry without any leak history as well). Without knowing its service history and the aforementioned issues, I'm thinking of offering more in the 15K range but wanted to ask the experts here before I even offered anything. Additionally, are there any air compressor fittings that came with this model (aft switch)?

Use-wise...the H2 would replace my Jeep for our farm (light use) and Yukon for towing of our boat. In 2 years it would go to our son as his first vehicle because we are absolutely thrilled with the protections it offers. I'd want to upgrade the stereo with a back up cam, possibly navi, and not much else.

I think 15k would be a fair price. Your son will luv the H2 and will have the coolest vehicle in the high school parking lot.

 

You say its dry. get under the truck and towards the back of skid plate where the rear main seal would be. Look to see if its leaking or sweating. Big job right there.
