Default 2006 H2 Temp Control not working right

Hello, I tried searching but could not find my issue anywhere. My lights all work and the actuator works but the control dials don't (mostly driver side)
I have to pull out slightly on the temp control dial and turn 1 click at a time....very slowly. Just to get the digital temp display to change correctly (sometimes this works). If I just turn the dial the display jumps all over the place from 70 to 87 to 68 etc. Is this a problem with the whole climate control module, or can I just replace the dials?

Thanks in advance,

I'm sorry but I cannot remember what the dials looked like when I had my climate control apart to replace the bulbs with LEDs. If its the same as the radio which it probably is you'll have 4-5 solder points for the contacts and another 3-4 solder points for anchors. They are a pain to desolder especially the anchor points but it wouldn't be impossible by any means.

Here is a pic of the radio for reference of what I'm talking about:

I wish I would have taken more pics when I had litterally every switch and circuit board taken apart in the interior.

oh if you take on this venture I highly recommend a no clean flux solder wick. Radio shack sells them by 5 foot rolls for 8 bucks I think. It will make that project so much easier then trying to just warm the solder and pull the points out.

I am having the exact same problem on my 03 H2...temp jumps all around and very hard to set. Have to turn riciculously slow to adjust. I am looking for a replacement module but would love to find a cheaper solution.
