Thanks 2wheel. I feel its fuel related also, the hard part is the Hummer ran perfect until the lights were left on. We replaced the batteries and it cranks over fine, just wont fire. Possible computer security??? Older GM products had some type of system back then. The fuses checked out fine, Can not hear the fuel pump run when key is put in the run position. Since the battery went dead is there any reset procedure for the computer to recognize the fuel system?? thanks again.

If the batteries went totally dead that can generate all types of weird electrical issues. You might need the ECM flashed. PM hummech, he can help answer your question.

Dealer is telling us that the ficm cracked and is allowing fuel to get into the electronics of the ficm. 700.00+ for the part. Anyone ever hear of these cracking?? I understand now that fuel flows through this unit to help keep it cool. Is it possible someone step on it?? This all happened when we sent it out to get painted. It ran perfect until we went to pick it up, the battery was dead then it wouldnt start. Been this long so far and still hasnt started, they are waiting for a new ficm.
