Default 2005 H2 Replacement Antenna

My stock antenna hits the garage door as I pull in and out of the garage. It makes a terrible racket. The H2 threaded antenna coupling (it is much larger) does not appear to be the same size as other GM vehicles. The antennas that claim to have adapters that fit "most" other vehicles don't work. Does anyone know of a rubber or collapsible antenna that fits an H2?

Don't know anything about a rubber or collapseable one, but I have this one:

The adapter that came with it fits perfectly.....

Mine did the same thing. I popped off the ball at the top and cut off a few inches and glued the ball back on. I didn't hurt the reception at all.

Thanks HummBob. The price on yours is almost half the cost of another I found that is simply a shortened version of the stock antenna. Ouch! And yours has flames.

Amp88, I considered cutting mine off, too, but I am trying to keep my stock antenna intact. It is good to know the ball can be popped off should I decide to go that route. Thanks for the info.
