I have a 2004 Hr,with 60,000 miles.I LOVE this truck!! Problem is lately,when I go to turn it off,the key doesn't always return to the "off" position.When this occurs,I restart it,shift the trans to drive,then to park,then usually it works correctly. Is there an interlock on the shifter,or is the ignition switch going bad? Anyideas would be welcome...maybe I can fix it myself? Thanks

 

If not in park key will not come out. If you are in park might need to adjust if there is an adjustment for it.

 

do you park in a slanted driveway??.......Mine used to do the same thing untill i backed in the driveway, instead of driving in.......
