It's all anecdotal right now but one day of rolling 39/39 psi I can feel a difference. Little rougher ride but I don't feel like I'm pushing the gas down as far to get going. I'll update after a week or two to see if it was a significant change. I also discovered if you run the compressor and close the doors you get a scary message about servicing air suspension.

 

My tires are all at 44 psi, I don't know how much a few psi higher will make, but it is an easy experiment! You should take it to a dealership and see if there is something wrong with the computer, maybe the fuel injection system needs to be tuned up?

 

at 44 psi your tires will not wear evenly, you will wear out the centers. Probably cost you more in rubber loss than fuel savings...


at 35PSI the factory BFG's will wear evenly and last a long time and are still soft enough to grip hard when called upon.

I have a few weeks of data now and I had one week that had bad data because I got an oil change and they let air out of my tires which killed my millage that week until I figured out what happened. It's summer in Texas so the AC runs constantly but I'm still eeking out 12.4mpg now which is a lot better than the 10.6 was averaging for the year prior to the tire pressure change.

 

WOW. Something is up dude. Off the dealer, I would be going!

He's reffering to going to a shop and having them hook their machine up to it and cleaning it out. It works really well, but I'm thinking you have bigger issues than gummed up injectors.
