Cool 12V Aux Sockets

OK, just how easy is it to replace the 12v sockets? I have 2 bad ones. The one in the front dash seems pretty straight forward because I've had that trim panel out before so if I have to get behind the trim panel it's no big deal. The second one is the socket in the rear passenger side trim panel in the cargo area. Do the trim panels have to be removed or is there some kind of "magic tool" you can use to pull them out?

These are also available at Amazon and other auto parts stores.

Cool

Sweet, I watched numerous YouTube videos and didn't see this one. Exactly what I was looking for. Something tells me it won't be this easy but it's a great start.

it's that easy. I have done two different replacements without removing the rear panel.

Cool

Ok. Socket in the rear cargo panel- 2 minutes. Sock et in the front dash- 25 minutes, some moderate cursing, and deep faith that seating the new socket back in place won’t break or crack the dash panel. Everything did turn out good

A little late to this post, but I changed out one charger port to a dual USB port that matched the other rubber covered charger

Amazon Amazon

This dedicated USB port is better looking to me than those plug in USB chargers.
And I didn't need a side by side (stock) cigarette ports
