Keep in mind that most spedos from the factory are not really accurate over 100 mph. They tend to exagerate about 10% more or less. My old 5.0 claimed 140, but the radar gun said 120. At any rate, I take it you were on the 15? Now if you could combine the speed with handling THAT would be impressive.

Wonder how long it takes to stop that almost 5000# brick from 121MPH? [&o]
Maybe a blow out, deer enters the highway or a deep pothole! Not a wise practice IMO.[:'(]

My speed o meter ends at 110. I have a Passport GPS Radar detector. One of the cool functions is that it can display your speed. Up to 100 MPH it is accurate within 2 MPH when comparing it to the Speed O Meter. So my Speed O Meter topped out at 110 MPH....but the passport did not. it recorded the speed as 121 MPH

Ah cool! I didn't even think to look at what the gauge tops out at. I should have kept an eye out for you over the weekend. I live in Vegas and I would think it would be hard to miss a red Alpha. Just be careful out here, Vegans drive horrible (proven by our insurance bills).

My saturn's speedo topped out at 140, i went just a tad over it, and the Garmin read 143, i think the speedo is pretty accurate in new cars.

143mph!! Can you imagine a head on collision? I hope you were alone. That's just stupid IMO.
