08 H3 Slipped at third gear Pls Help
Hi my 08 H3 with 153000 on it begun slipping at third gear when driving slow but if I pressed the gas hard until it reaches the third gear and pass it, the truck runs normally.
My mechanic said I lost my third gear and need to rebuild my tranny

You need a transmission rebuild. You did well if this is the first rebuild at 153K miles.
Do some research, find yourself a reputable local shop. You may want to have it beefed up like by using a Beast sunshell etc...
