07 H3 Base or 08 Adventure package?
Have oppurtunity to get an 07h3 base or 08 adventure for basically the same price...08 has 10k more miles ....nothing major....Thing is is there any big advantage to the adventure package? Does the chrome accents wear more so than the black plastic pieces in the base? What else are some advantages....Oh yeah the 08 has the sunroof, powerseats, and the monsoon sound system, where the 07 doesnt......both are white.....is this a no brainer or input PLEASE first hummer owner here.......

The adventure package has the rear locker, lower TC gear ratio, and bigger tires.
The chrome trim, power seats, and monsoon are part of the luxury package. The chrome trim is fairly durable and easily changed out to black if you desire.
If they both check out ok, I'd go the '08. All those extra options are worth a few extra miles.

08 Adventure hands down.
-Chrome does not fade like black plastic.
-Adventure Package will have the above mentioned rear locker, 4 to 1 low range transfer case gearing, Monsoon Sound System, 285/75R16s and Adventure tuned shocks. The Adventure package is also a plus for resale for anyone who wants to wheel it.
-Sunroof is also a plus for resale and ownership.
-08' you will not have to worry about the build date for the plastic fork in the T-case or the bad head.
-Depending on the build date the 07 may have the window switches located on the lower portion of the door pull. 08 will have them on the upper portion.

thank you guys so much for the input on the car. I did decide to go with the 08 bc of the adventure package and the added options of the sunroof, power seats, and better sound. Can't wait to get it, being transferred from OKC bc I got it thru carmax and I wanted a manual so I have to wait a week or two.

Good decision on the '08!
One other benefit to your choice is it has just been confirmed that Hypertech now offers a power programmer for '08 and up H3 3.7's, so that's an option to keep in mind if you want an adjustable tuner down the road.
