i purchased a wireless camera with transmitter/ reciever, and got a monitor seperatly.


im installing a wireless reverse camera in my 06 H3, i spliced into one ofthe 12v cig plugs , the right sided one, it only has 2 wires, the left plug has 4 wires. now it seems i have constant power to the reciever that will be plugged into monitor. is this ok?

do both 12v cigs have constant power?

should i add a power a switch to the receiver? ( id prefer not, as i dont wanna have to remember to push a switch everytime i put the car in reverse.)

 

better yet is there an 12v ignition-switched wire visible with the Ac/radio bezel removed? and would i need to ground it , or splice to a neg-
