Hi all, question, I have 2 05 H2 with the lights in the bumper, on one they are dual filament and operate as parking/marker lights, and brake lights the other car they are also dual filament but only operate as brake lights but all the rest of the lights work fine, marker lights ect. ?? How are the SUPPOSE to work on a 05????? so and with that said, my taillights, top is marker/brake, middle is marker, bottom is BU

 

The lower bumper lights should function in all aspects, running light, blinker, and brake light.


Those bulb connections are known to corrode and act odd since they are completely exposed to the elements. I would start there. Some have bought new bulb sockets and replaced the factory ones and their problems went away.

 

Well once I was certain how it was suppose to operate i went fishing, the previous owners had cut the license plate light and left the wires tucked behind the tire. At one time they must have shorted and popped the fuse in the engine compartment. It’s a 15amp fuse and runs bothe the license plate light and the running light portion of the bumper lights, all better!
