On 3rd doorman switch auto-zone POS... Thankful for the lifetime warranty but 3 switches in a year ???. So Upon removal this time the clip broke on the harness connector anyone have a part number for the Connector Housing?

I Should have a factory delco ignition switch Monday/Tuesday. Right now have the AZ replacement on without the retaining clip it should hold..

I am able to re-pin the connector housing if I can locate the delphi part# or pack # would rather have it right than have to remove the column cover again if it slips off and not a fan of zip ties.

I know when I wired the factory off road lights by the fuse box it took forever to find this terminal Metri-Pack 2-Way Female Connector, Black, 56 Series Delphi 2973781


MY Instrument cluster is now (Scrolling Thu Language and changing language's = bad trip reset/button) I have repaired it way to many times (Steppers, Resistors, Power Supply Parts, Logic IC) So unless I can find a trip/reset button I'll just replace it with a new brand new cluster next week $$$ but if someone know's the digikey/mouser/Etc. part # for the SMT Tactile switch then Ill disassemble and replace. But right now I Don't want to disassemble it again just to take measurements and search the data sheets for a Popper Tactile Switch.

I did find one on ebay but not gonna pay 5x's the the cost of a SMT Tactile Switch shipped on principle No way a Profit yes but 5X's or more the cost of an average 0.35¢ - $1.00 for strip of 5-10 + $3.00 ship SMT Tactile button no!

I have No Issues With the PCB/SMT/SMD Rework... I have the tools and Know how to use them.

 

You need to find the GM eSi download somewhere online. There are a couple of them out there. The last one that really was done before GM started doing the thing all online was through 2008 model years. This is the factory dealership service manual. One neat thing - it give all the electrical connector views with the pins as well as what specific type connector it is. So the 4 pin ignition switch connector is a 2 way F Metri-Pack 150 series.

The one I have runs as a virtual machine. There is also a through 2005 version that runs as a web server.

I also just found one online. Its the 2008 version. Someone has actually got it running on a web server live online!
