I just got my H2 back after 2 weeks in the shop and I was told that I need to replace both converters for the engine light to go out. The code is showing a bad cat but I was told to replace them both. I purchased 2 new 02 sensors but they heated them up and still couldn't get them out. I was told to change the entire Y with the cats because they couldn't get them out. Anyone do that and what products do you guys think is the best?

 

I did the same to mine, if you look on-line you will be able to get a direct fit.

 

Try a muffler shop. If your cats are OK and all you need is new 02 sensors they can drill a hole and weld new 02 sensor bungs right next to the original sensors. If your cats are shot then yes a new Y pipe is in order.
