I use to be an asphalt sealer and trust me dont get the stuff you put on with a roller it looks awful and it is has stuff that shouldnt be on your asphalt, It is not completely oil based meaning it does seal your asphalt which is not good, asphalt needs to breath and expand/contract and with this stuff it will just crack it. I'd suggest getting it done professionally with a sprayer and 100% oil based liquid asphalt which is made up of the oils they mixed with the sand/gravel to make the asphalt. But be aware some companys cut the stuff with diesel to make more money so make sure that the spray is black and not brown.

Never heard of roll on stuff for asphalt LOL! I figured they always slobbered something thicker on like you said ... I think concrete is far easier to care for myself and I'm GLAD I didn't end up with black top all the way up to my garage door!

Hey Man, Hows it going. It is funny that you brought this up because I am the Director of Marketing for the compnay I work for. Its called Hyperseal Inc., and we are based out of Thousand Palms, Ca (its like five miles from Palm Springs). We have a product which we have tested and developed for over three years and we have been selling it for years. It is made to go over asphalt and it has no nasty chemicals in it or smeal. It can be rolled on, sprayed on, or brushed on.

I could ship some to you or talk with you about it if you would like, maybe if you were interested to telling your friends and all, about the product we could make it some how ship to you very very cheap.

Check out our webpage www.hypersealinc.com, its called HyperGlass Black. It also cool and resits weather damage.

I will definitely check it out. I appreciate the info. My warranty advisor for my builder told me today to wait until September to apply anything because supposedly putting any kind of seal coat in the summer is not advised due to the ground being too hot. He also said to wait because he's going to have the foreman of the new company they use to lay down asphalt driveways to inspect mine to see if he thinks it was not applied properly.

Does that sound right? I'm definitely willing to try out your product. These guys know I'm a sucker for new products

I would like to keep my H3 parked in the driveway once I get it all shined up (yes, all you ego-maniac critisizers, to show it off) but I don't want all that weight on there constantly and have it start to bow in. I suppose it's done all the settling it will do and since I never have anything parked on there, it probably doesn't matter anyway. I don't wash my car in the driveway either. I take it to a touchless place that actually works incredibly well. The driveway has not been exposed to much any chemical or foriegn liquid other then rain water.
