Default "Off" feature for the headlights

Hello does anyone know how to disconnect the feature on the headlight switch to turn all of the lights off. It is the 0 below the auto feature. I need to disconnect it to allow me to register me H2 in Ontario...apparently you cannot have the option to turn your DRL's off in Ontario...whata F$#@ing stupid rule.

I would appreciate any ideas. GM dealers will turn it off through the computer but that will cost me $100.00 in labour and 70.00 for the software...again another money grab.

Thanks in advance
Sean

Wait...which lights? The marker lights above your windshield? You can remove one of the fuses to have that shut off.

The built null function that clears the lights (off function as you call it) is part of the switch. The least invasive and probably the least headache producing is dealership route. Have computer reprogrammed to remove the function. jmho Ive tried many times in life to save a buck and ended pissin more away because of poor planing or execution or lol! other stuff.
