Happy Birthday (late) to my 5 yo
She had her party on Saturday.. and yesterday, (well now theday before) was her actual B-Day.
She wanted a luao (is that spelled right?) so that's what we had.. right smack in the middle of south central Texas.. LOL. As long as my baby was happy, I'm good. They had a hoola hoop contest, which I knew my oldest would win because that girl has been able to holla hoop since right before she was 3. She even walks around while keeping it going... [&:]I think she's from another planet. Then we were on to the limbo contest.. and then they beat the snot out of a pinata shaped like a flip flop. One of the things we got her... ok dad got her.. was a jeep Rubicon RC crawler. She really liked it. She's wheeled it a few times in the rocks around our property. I think I'll have to get one for big sis too, since she seems to like it even more than the little one does.
Just a few pics...

That would be coil overs. Pretty flexy for a little toy, but could be just a bit softer. After all, it's not like it needs road manners. I think the tires could be a little softer too. Most of thetime it climbs great, but when it can't, it seems it's because the tires are just a bit too firm and won't get a good grip (also when the batt is low). Since it has no weight to it really, soft tires are a bit more crucial on an incline.
One of it's best features is the variable speed sensativity. Just like a gas peddle.. you can creep up rocks without too much tire spin by just the slightest pressure on the throttle. Need more grunt... cycle the steering and hammer down.. LOL.
It's almost as addicting as real wheeling.. "come on sweety, let's go outside and play with your jeep!!" LOL
