I found this forum during my search for an H1. I owned a 2003 (see photos in my album) that I bought new in 2003 and sold in 2007. I have missed it ever since I sold it. We live in Las Vegas and need something to take out in the desert with our dogs. I was looking at Defender 110s (I had a D90 and thought the extra size of the 110 would be nice) but then I thought, why not another H1. So now I am in the market for an H1 wagon. I am thinking 2000 or newer. Needing to do some research on the aftermarket AC upgrades also as we really do not want to be hot and with the dogs in the back the extra airflow will be nice.

It is nice to be joining the forum and I am seeing some amazing posts with tons of info. Very different from the drama and BS on most other car forums I read!

I would suggest with the price of fuel moving in the wrong direction. Consider looking into a H3 version.
