Picking up my 2010 H3T Alpha today. It has stock wheels. I want to keep the stock wheels but maybe add a larger tire. I do not have the Adventure set up. From what I have learned the tire size is a bit larger with the Adventure set up. 285 vs 265? my question is can I go with the larger tire without changing anything?
You can go as large as a 315/75R16 on the OEM 16" wheels.
Plenty of us have them on stock suspensions without leveling their rig.
Your speedo will be off by a bit with either the 315/75R16 (34.6"x12), 305/70R16 (32.8"x12) or 285/75R16 (32.8x11.2)
