I traded a 1972 CJ5 for a 2006 H3. I told my wife that it was for our 13 year old daughter. I figured that it's the equivalent of driving an armored car. Car has been sitting for 7 years. The engine has a rod knock. I found a low mileage replacement 3.5. I did get the old engine running and driving. Found a H3 in the local LKQ yard and the interior was perfect. I got everything except the headliner. I'm currently working on the sunroof. The motor was locked up. I got it working but am waiting for a replacement gear. Once I finish the inside then I will swap motors. My daughter is very excited. So I guess it is her car after all.
