Default 2006 h3

Hello, new to the forum, I have a 2006 Hummer H3 and it keeps loosing the key immobilizer information when it sits for a while. I do the key on for 10 minutes and it will start again, I do not have to do the key on for 10 minutes 3 times. It will start after the first 10 minute wait but will do the same thing again when it sits for a while. We changed the ignition switch but that did not help, any other information will help. Thank you

Welcome to HF.

This section is strictly for introductions, not tech questions. All H3 tech questions go in the H3 section.

You have an old truck. Electrical components/connections deteriorate over time. Everybody with an old vehicle should have a can of CRC Electronics cleaner. You did not need to replace the switch, clean it! Then read up on Passlock.
