Bad news guys .. looks like my water pump in the truck is heading south on me :/ Will know for sure Tuesday wtf is going with it and if they can come through for me prior to the trip next weekend. I talked to my service folks yesterday and they have confirmed they have all the parts in house and ready if it proves to be it. I should have it turned around over night but in the event there's more or other parts above and beyond this, the weekend MAY be sketchy.
If I need to cancel on yas, you will know as soon as I do .. as things stand now, should be all set to go still but ... just a heads up it may change ...

Well, we don't want to be sliding down hills and into trees. Is it a good idea to go in this weather?

The weather for friday night into saturday here isnt good. Freezing rain and such... Will have to wait and see... It will be a long trip for us if whe have to drive up there in that.
Yea, let's keep an eye on the weather. The park is open regardless of weather and the trails would be fine.
Getting there could be another story if the weather is bad. Granted we all have Hummers but we all know how annoying it is to share roads with "other" vehicles and also Indiana likes to close north-south roads when there's storms.

I'm guessing by wed/thursday, i will have a better idea of whta's gonna happen. I'm not worried about road conditions, just the travel time. It's 4 1/2 hours in good weather... I just dont feel like driving too much more than that to go off-roading... Ya know?
