Default why tall drivers may want to relocate the rear view mirror

Reduce blind spot

I`m 6`1 and that rear view mirror was a huge blind spot for me!

It only took 15 minutes at my local auto glass repair shop.

Cost $0.00....with a promise to bring my next glass repair there

problem solved!

Good idea. I'm only 6'0", but that mirror location sure seemed weird when I test drove it. Not so much a blind spot, per se, but seemed to be really far back and less effective. I'll probably do something like this when I get mine (hoping soon if I can find the right combo)

That is a Great idea. I am 6' 3" and know it is difficult. I mainly use the side mirrors. Thanks for the tip.

I am getting my windshield replaced soon and was thinking of having the mirror placed there also. Glad to see it can be done. I'll be joining the high mirror club next week. I can't wait to have less obstructed view. Thanks for posting!

Best Modification Yet to the H3!

I just had my windshield replaced, I asked the glass guy to move the mirror mount up about 1 1/2 inches. What a difference! No more blind spot and a better view out of the back window, the tire is less of an obstruction (35" tire).

If you have to get your windshield replaced or just want to move the mirror, I say go for it!
