Looking for a winch mount for my 2009 H3T
Try going into your USER CP and make sure Private Messaging is checked, please.
It allowed me to send you a “public” message, but PM’s still don’t show as an option on my USER CP page. All my settings are set to their least restrictive options. This is my 10th post; may 10 is the magic number.
If I go to the Vendor Directory, click on Carid, and click on “Send a private message”, I get a screen telling me “You don’t have permission to access this page...”, and possible reasons given include “your account may not have sufficient privileges” and “your account... may be awaiting activation”.
So maybe a moderator will intervene soon.
I’ve Googled CBphoto and close variants trying to find another way to contact him with no luck, but it does bring up some rather interesting photos. Thankfully my wife wasn’t looking over my shoulder at the time!

Hey guys. New to Hummer ownership, this forum, and this thread
I'm literally buying my H3 tonight and I feel like a kid in a candy store looking at all the things I want to do to it. Would this be able to work for a 2007 H3? My wife is not nearly as pumped as I am so buying an entirely different bumper in addition to the cost of the winch probably would not fly...

Hi Josh - This winch mount style that I bought (pictured above) bolts directly to the frame in the same spot that the front D-rings are mounted. So I still have the original factory H3/H3T bumper, with the addition of the attached winch mount. There are other H3/H3T mounts out there that mount the same way and have brush guards that extend outward to protect the headlights, etc. So yes, you have options for winch mounts without replacing the entire bumper. The brush guard ones were fairly popular, maybe someone still makes them or you can find a good one at a salvage yard. Good luck with your new purchase!
