Lock for tailgate

Lock for tailgate
I know about the pop and lock for the tailgate of our H3T's, but I read somewhere that the Chevy 1500 tailgate handle with the factory lock included will fit perfectly. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks in advance

Well the POP & LOCK PL8120Q fits both the H3T and 2007 – 2013 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500.
That tells me the 2007 – 2013 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 locking handle/bezel will work.
I would buy the PL1350C from POP & LOCK 2007 – 2013 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 BOLT* CODEABLE LOCK if it came in black unless you like the chrome. *BOLT® codeable technology allows you to use YOUR OWN IGNITION KEY. By inserting your key into the lock, it memorizes your key code.

Thanks for the reply yes I would absolutely buy that if it was in Black. Like you I don't want any more chrome lol. I guess the only thing to do is bite the bullet and buy an OEM lockable tailgate handle for a 2009 Chevy/GMC 1500 and see if it fits. OR....just buy the Pop and lock add on lock and be done with it? But what fun would that be lol?
