Yaw sensor
Hello everyone
so I have the ABS fault, traction failed, service stab sys. Showing. The carpet was wet so I cleaned the drains dried the carpet and ordered a new sensor. Disconnected the battery and changed the sensor. Codes are still there. Anyone have any thoughts?. It a 2007 adventure series. I have had it for 6 years. With no major issues . I had a bad wheel bearing which I thought was causing the codes both have been replaced. Also had the lower steering ujoint replaced but the codes where showing even before that. I had my mechanic do that the other repairs I did. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

If your carpet got wet I HIGHLY recommend you investigate your BCM and make sure it didn't get wet. When the BCM goes it can cause all sorts of problems. When mine died it was making my wipers go off on their own randomly. It is located right in the danger zone if you get a sunroof drain tube leak and is prone to getting wet
I feel your pain going thru the same nightmare myself with a 2009 H3t I just bought. Only difference is I do not have the ABS light on. Looks like the BCM in mine too as I also had the sunroof drain leak, Good luck and keep us posted.
Thanks for all the info guys. I pulled the side of the dash off. Nothing looks wet now. But I'm sure the damage has been done. Any way to determine which module could be bad?
agian thanks

Have you had a dealer hook it up to a tech II? Good chance you will get a BCM communication error which will mean the BCM is bad and needs to be replaced. Honestly what I would do is make sure connectors at the BCM are not corroded. If they look clean just replace the BCM and then see what happens. I spent almost $2k troubleshooting similar issues when my BCM went bad and I should have just done the replacement first (they aren't bad, ~$185 wholesale plus labor to install and program it).
Hey All
I'm not sure if it just took a couple of key cycles . But I installed the new sensor on a Friday night and started it a few times with no success. Drove it Saturday for just a few miles and still had all the codes showing. Didn't drive it on that Sunday and drove it the next 3 days shutting on and off several times. With all codes clear. Fingers crossed
