She is asking $6,500. She said she doesn’t know much about the vehicle and directed me to ask her mechanic, who said the only problem is it needs a new transfer case.
From the pictures the only thing I like is the color, is it worth repairing whatever the
cost for the transfer case?
Price a Transfer Case and installation labor, plus door weather-stripping and everything else you can see that needs attention.
From those two pics, looks like it was driven hard for those miles and not well cared for. The first clue is "I do not know much about the vehicle." Your response should be, "how long have you owned it?" I would not drive 4 hours to pay what is being asked. You/she does not even know what Model the H3 is..... Base, Adventure, Lux, Lux Off Road.......
