Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Thanks. I’m thinking that it’s a part from #16. The parts guy agreed with me today too, so the hummer sits until Wednesday while I wait for the part.

Don't waste your time trying to figure it out, or how to repair. Just get a reman they are cheap.

Thanks. I researched the heck out of it plus all schematics etc. I rebuilt my transfer case and threw it all back in and still going strong. Except think it now has a rear main drip. Has about 165k. I can’t remember completely without going outside and looking.

Very nice! Mine goes in to the shop Wednesday for the rear main seal (2006 at 136k)- I cant tolerate the dripping any longer. Just had GM do the oil pan gasket hoping that was where it was mostly coming from, my luck- the rear main is the culprit... Here is a good buy on the complete plate, seal & bolts to do the rear main https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-B...72.m2749.l2649

Im at 136k now. The last one I had (sold in March 2019) was a yellow 2006- I put a new transfer case in that one at approx 225k in 2015. Found a new complete transfer case from GM for if memory is right around $900- looks like those prices are long gone...
Was just curious how long on yours to establish some kind of idea if they are failing around a certain time...
